On January 28, we discussed in worship the idea of creating a separate Sunday School hour beginning in September of this year. Here is a brief recap of that concept.
Sunday mornings, we would have Sunday School from 9-9:50am. This Sunday School time would include classes for all ages including youth and adults and include a seasonal Children's Choir every other month as a option during Sunday School. Then our regular worship service would begin at 10am.
During that service, we would offer a Children’s Worship program for 3rd Graders and younger, while grades 4 and older would remain in the service. Children’s Worship would be multi-generational and entirely different from our Sunday School classes, so that children could enjoy both hours without repetition.
