The Co-Chairs of the INSOL Europe Insolvency Office Holders Forum – Jean Baron, Robert Hänel and David Soden – are seeking feedback and suggestions from our members. This involves 7 short questions and should only take a few minutes to complete. Thank you for participating in our survey. Your feedback is important.

The current objectives of the IOH group are:

1. Identify actual and future challenges for the profession, such as:
  • Harmonization-efforts regarding insolvency / restructuring laws and regimes in Europe
  • Professional standards (best practice / code of conduct) and regulation of the profession
  • Remuneration systems
  • Court systems and influence on proceedings
  • Selection of IOH (by Court/Creditors/Debtor) / appointment systems
  • Range of tasks in each type of situation; preventive restructuring, restructuring and liquidation
2. Collect useful information related and make it available for members.

3. Discuss topics and potentially develop / provide recommendations for INSOL Europe to address to EU and/or relevant national institutions.

4. Establish a way for members to submit questions / topics worth discussing online.

5. Contribute to professional training offered by INSOL Europe.
