INSOL Europe IOH Survey 2019

Dear Members

The Co-Chairs of the INSOL Europe Insolvency Office Holders Forum – Jean Baron, Robert Hänel and David Soden – are seeking feedback and suggestions from our members. This involves 7 short questions and should only take a few minutes to complete. Thank you for participating in our survey. Your feedback is important.

Please read about our objectives before answering the questions.

The current objectives of the IOH group are:

1. Identify actual and future challenges for the profession, such as:

Harmonization-efforts regarding insolvency / restructuring laws and regimes in Europe
Professional standards (best practice / code of conduct) and regulation of the profession
Remuneration systems
Court systems and influence on proceedings
Selection of IOH (by Court/Creditors/Debtor) / appointment systems
Range of tasks in each type of situation; preventive restructuring, restructuring and liquidation

2. Collect useful information related and make it available for members.

3. Discuss topics and potentially develop / provide recommendations for INSOL Europe to address to EU and/or relevant national institutions.

4. Establish a way for members to submit questions / topics worth discussing online.

5. Contribute to professional training offered by INSOL Europe.
