HOT SPRINGS SCHOOL LEVY SURVEY

The Hot Springs School Board over the past several years has attempted to maintain a frugal general fund budget. However, the National inflationary increases over the past several years have exceeded our allowed budget authority. We have come to the point where we now need additional help funding the eduation of our students through a voted levy increase.

We are requesting your input on what our tax payers are willing to support. Please take the time to select an option below.

$185,000 Levy
Passage of a $185,000 levy would increase the taxes on a home with a market value of $100,000 by approximately $108.61 and on a home with a market value of $200,000 by approximately $217.22.

$150,000 Levy
Passage of a $150,000 levy would increase the taxes on a home with a market value of $100,000 by approximately $88.06 and on a home with a market value of $200,000 by approximately $176.12.

$100,000 Levy
Passage of a $100,000 levy would increase the taxes on a home with a market value of $100,000 by approximately $58.71 and on a home with a market value of $200,000 by approximately $117.42.

I will not support a school levy.
