Can you help us reach young carers?

Carers NSW wants to hear from young carers (aged 16-25 years and under) about their needs and experiences caring, studying, working, participating in their community and accessing services. We plan to conduct qualitative research in the first half of 2020 to complement the Carers NSW 2020 Carer Survey.

The Carers NSW Young Carer Research Project will explore experiences of young carers aged 16-25 in NSW. This is a great way to provide qualitative feedback about what is and isn’t working in their caring role, in the various service systems they access, and how to better engage them in accessing support.

The findings will be used to help Carers NSW advocate for better support for young carers across NSW and develop an engagement tool to inform future projects and programs.
