Calling all youth-led and youth-serving organizations! We have an amazing opportunity for you to immerse into the world of open data and expand on the important work of your organization. Data has the power to transform the impact of your work, but it can be overwhelming to know where to start or how to realize its full potential. Through this 10-week program, you will learn invaluable skills in open data literacy, applying them directly to the initiatives and goals of your organization. The estimated time commitment is 25-30 hours for one key contact. Space is limited. We encourage all levels of data literacy to apply, as we are seeking a range of data proficiency skills. $1000 stipend upon successful completion of the courses


The program runs from November 15th, 2021 to February 18th, 2022. with a 2 week break from December 20th to 31st. The deadline to apply is November 9th at 11:59 pm PT. We look forward to reviewing your application!


Break down of time commitment (over the course of 10 weeks): 


- 5-10 hours of independent research/writing for final insight project (report/blog post/infographic)
- 12-15 hours of workshops/meetings 
- 5 hours of exercise “homework” material (roughly 30m per week)
