Survey for the purpose of the Earth System Governance Project 'South-South Dialogues' Initiative

This survey is created to better understand the needs and interests of scholars that are part of or interested to join the Earth System Governance (ESG) project, and who are from or working in the Global South.

The survey will also help to inform the design of the ESG South-South Dialogues: a series of events oriented to amplify the voices of Global South scholars in the ESG project, strengthen the connection between different regions in the Global South, and leverage research and knowledge emanating from the Global South with the intent to strengthen its contribution in advancing the ESG Science and Implementation plan.

The ESG South-South Dialogues will commence with an Innovative Session at the 2022 Toronto Conference. As part of the initiative, 1-2 workshops are planned to be held in 2023.

The initiative has been proposed and supported by Earth System Governance Project Scientific Steering Committee members Prof. Louis Kotzé, Prof. Chukwumerije (Chuks) Okereke, Prof. Cristina Y. A. Inoue and Dr. Atsushi Ishiii, and is coordinated through the ESG International Project Office.

For the ESG South-South Dialogues to be as useful and relevant as possible, we hope that you will take the time to share your insights to make this initiative a success.
