ASAHP has begun work on our new strategic plan and are requesting volunteers to help us implement the plan. Please review each committee and its deliverables below and indicate if you are willing to be a part of the working committee.

Please choose a committee that you have an expertise in or a passion for. If you are not sure which committee to choose, but are interested in being a part of the implementation, there is a category for undecided.

Mission: To support ASAHP’s growth by promoting ASAHP’s impact and the accomplishments of its current members

  1. Create ASAHP communication and marketing plan
  2. Create and implement membership diversity and growth plan
  3. Upgrade and improve social media presence
  4. Create publicity plans to promote ASAHP members
  5. Improve search engine optimization

1. Develop online leadership programs
2. Design and implement a mentorship program
3. Develop and implement a peer coaching program
4. Continue leadership program for members and aspiring deans (pathways)
5. Recruit healthcare industry leaders/experts to the Board and encourage collaboration with healthcare industry

3. Create consulting/expertise service linking member institutions in real-time
4. Create and implement internal speaker’s bureau for industry access - ASAHP expertise broadcast

Mission: To promote the mission of ASAHP and its benefits to allied health and healthcare, and to grow the membership and services of ASAHP through strategic partnerships, alliances, and advocacy

Goals/Deliverables:
1. Develop alliances with professional organizations and accrediting bodies that benefit the allied health and healthcare professions
2. Develop healthcare partnerships to drive and promote research, publications, student activities/employment, and conferences
3. Identify ASAHP champions (Members of Congress, association liaisons, and others) that will promote the needs and benefits of ASAHP
4. Create ASAHP advocate training program

4. Publish research special issues/topics in ASAHP's Journal of Allied Health
