Introduction

Hi there! Kaya!

Welcome to our annual Youth Sector Survey.

Every year, we take a temperature check of how we're performing and where we can improve.

Usually we only ask this of our members, but this year, we're asking everyone we engage with – members or otherwise, for a temperature check to make sure we're doing the best possible job for young people and the youth sector that supports them.

If you can spare 10 minutes, this is a chance to offer meaningful feedback to YACWA about the work we've done over the last 12+ months. We don't just want feedback on what we're doing, but what we should be doing and where we can pivot to address gaps in our sector.

Need a quick refresher on who we are?

The Youth Affairs Council of Western Australia (YACWA) is the peak non-government youth organisation in Western Australia. YACWA operates primarily as a human rights organisation that seeks to address the exclusion of young people in a rapidly changing society.

Our vision for Western Australia is one that celebrates and engages young people in all aspects of the community. Our role is to strengthen the trust, cooperation, collaboration, professionalism and voice of the non-government youth service sector to better serve the young people of Western Australia.
