SÍM is constantly working on the welfare of its members. One of the tools that has kept us going in that fight is surveys like this one. Your answers to this survey are invaluable in the fight for improved conditions for visual artists. in Iceland.
Objective: This survey aims to collect information on the working conditions, financial situation and professional status of visual arts and the value of the visual arts profession (artists) for Icelandic society in the years 2020 to 2024. The responses to the survey will form the basis for policy recommendations to Icelandic authorities aimed at improving the welfare of visual artists, including better financial support and improved working conditions and earnings for visual artists.
