Welcome to the IFP Festival Forum first annual Film Festival Operations Survey. We will present preliminary results at the Art House Convergence in January 2015 and members will also receive a copy of the results. This information will help you more effectively advocate for your festival, educate your board and other constituents.

In appreciation for your participation, you will be entered into a raffle. First Prize is a FREE registration for the 2015 Art House Convergence in Utah: a $575 value AND a FREE SIO Pass to the 2015 Sundance Film Festival: a $750 value. (If you have already registered for either event, you will receive a refund.) If you do not attend Sundance due to your festival schedule, you can select instead an Industry pass to the Toronto International Film Festival. In addition, five other survey participants will receive cash prizes of $100 each. You must complete the survey by November 30th to be entered in the raffle.

Please note that all of your information will be kept anonymous and confidential; i.e., none of your responses will be associated with your Festival's name in the analysis.

Please note also:

* We can use Only One response per Festival, so check with your colleagues to be sure only one of you is completing the questionnaire.

If your Festival is one of several presented by an institute or organization, please answer only for the Festival that you represent.

All questions about attendance, income, expenses, etc. will apply to 2013, since that is the most recent year for which you have complete data.

Please answer all questions to the best of your ability. If you do not have exact numbers, your BEST ESTIMATE will be appreciated. Note: If your answer to any question would be "none," please enter a "0" so that we know you have not just skipped that question.

The survey should take about 20 minutes of your time, especially if you have your year end reports for sponsors and funders handy, as much of this information is often reported there. While you are working on the survey, you can stop at anytime and come back to it later. The survey program will resume wherever you stopped.
