Cirrus Logistics and Plymouth University - Marine Institute have been working and researching the field of Berth Scheduling and harbour operations for many years.

The purpose of this survey is to get an up to date picture of the systems and processes utilised in the scheduling of berths at ports and terminals across the world today.

Your response to this questionnaire is important as it will guide the learning of future generations of port and terminal professionals and be used to focus the development priorities of tools utilised in the field of maritime decision support in Ports and terminals.

The order in which the questions are asked follows the information flow from the first notification of an intended vessel call to a port, through to the final berth scheduling decision and subsequent residence on the selected berth / berths.
