This confidential survey will establish an evidence base for the five fresh-produce crop roadmaps and the DEFRA-funded Peat-Free Pathway work programme.
Please report for the calendar year 1 January to 31 December 2025. Use business records where possible, although a best estimate is acceptable.
Growing-media volumes must be reported in cubic metres of liberated or loose-fill material: the volume after compressed bales or blocks have been opened and expanded ready for use.
Business-identifiable information will be held confidentially by the project coordinator. Only aggregated results will be shared. The survey is for sector baseline and roadmap monitoring, not assessment of individual businesses.
