Program Overview:
Grant Amounts are prioritized to eligible nonprofits at which the Financial Professional (Advisor), their Staff Member or the Home Office Employee is personally and actively engaged as a volunteer. Note: Contingent Workers (contractors) are not eligible to apply.
The recipient organization must demonstrate it is a qualified U.S. based nonprofit organization with tax exempt status granted under the Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3).
The types of projects/programs eligible for funding include, but are not limited to:
· Health & Human Services, with a focus on your local community
· Education, with a focus on financial literacy
· Cultural Activities, such as museums and theater groups
· Civic/Service organizations, such as scouting, youth sports, animal rescue, first responder
We recommend working with a contact at the nonprofit to help you collect the information necessary to complete this application. Use the PDF worksheet available for this purpose. Note: Grant eligibility is restricted to your volunteer involvement with no more than (2) charities. Each volunteer engagement must be on a separate application; do not combine into one application. Applicant Reviews will be conducted during April and you and/or the charity may be contacted for more details. Grant Disbursements to charities of successful applicants will be notified and made in the mid-May/early-June timeframe.
Special consideration is given to Group Volunteer activities, hosted by an office or site.
