2019 Musical - Student Auditions, Round 2 Survey

The performer levy for the Musical is $100. This will likely cover sets, props and consumables. Students will be required to source the bulk of their own costuming, at their own expense.

There will be some Sunday commitments that all cast are required to keep available. The proposed Sunday rehearsals are 3 March, 28 April, 12 May and 19 May 2019. Show Week is Tuesday 21 May through to Saturday 25 May, with after hours rehearsals for most cast on Tuesday and Wednesday, and full cast required Thursday to Saturday during the day and evening. A contingency day for bump out of the theatre is planned for Sunday 26 May. This is subject to need, and will be decided closer to the date.

Please indicate any commitments that may be potential clashes with rehearsals on Thursdays and Sundays. Show Week attendance is compulsory.

7.Below are the available performing options for the Musical.

Chorus - Acting, singing and some movement. Rehearsals are Thursday mornings from 7:30am-8:45am, and Thursday Thursday after school from 3:00pm-5:00pm for acting, movement and blocking.

Audition requirements - Please prepare a maximum 1 minute performance of an 80s solo song. Use iPad to film in preparation for upload after the survey closes on Tuesday 12 February. Your song choice should demonstrate your best singing skills. An email will be sent on Tuesday 12 February indicating where and how to upload your audition.

8.Terms and Conditions

Each student applying to audition for the 2019 Musical agrees to the following:

1. It is the responsibility of the student to meet deadlines and follow instructions regarding audition requirements.

2. Decisions regarding call backs and casting are at the discretion of the audition panel.

3. The audition panel is unable to provide individual feedback on auditions.

4. Successful applicants are available to attend rehearsals and show week commitments.

5. Read and accurately complete all aspects of the survey.
