February Storm Event 2024 – Reclaimed wood distribution

The Mirboo North Timber Reclamation Project Inc. has salvaged and stored timber from the storms
back in February 2024, to be put back into the community. Firewood will be provided back to
concession card holders in the 3871-postcode area.

Guidelines

Eligibility criteria for receiving firewood is that the person receiving firewood holds a Pensioner
Concession Card, Veterans’ Affairs Card or Healthcare Card, resides within postcode 3871, and uses
firewood in their home. Firewood will be provided free of charge in lots of approximately one cubic
metre per household. Delivery could take up to 8 weeks while timber is processed.

This application form must be completed to confirm you agree with the to the Terms and Conditions
of the provision of free firewood for you. The Mirboo North Timber Reclamation Project Inc. reserves
the right to refuse an application where eligibility criteria has not been met, or where the applicant does not
or cannot provide sufficient information for the Mirboo North Timber Reclamation Project to
determine if eligibility criteria have been met.

Complete applications will be assessed in order of receipt and incomplete applications will not be entered.
