This course is intended for charter schools and small private schools that have their meals provided by caterers. The session provides an overview of Food Distribution Program processes for successfully participating in the Food Distribution Program. Discussions regarding "how to's" of the four distribution channels available to Minnesota sponsors, i.e., Regular U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Foods, Minnesota Rebate Program (MRP), Minnesota Fee-for-Service (FFS), and the USDA Department of Defense Fresh Fruit and Vegetable (DoD Fresh) program, as well as the surveying, tracking and rebating processes within the Cyber-Linked Interactive Child Nutrition System (CLiCS) 1 will also be reviewed.
