About

BUDDIES is an Erasmus+-funded project, working alongside The Europe Challenge for libraries. BUDDIES pairs library and community workers with mentors from other localities to support professional growth, builds a sustainable Europe-wide network of frontline community workers, and develops policy recommendations to help libraries better open up to their communities.

The collection will showcase innovative community-led learning initiatives in public libraries across Europe, with a particular focus on supporting underserved groups and adult learners. Through gathering and sharing these practices, we aim to strengthen the network of public libraries working to bridge digital divides and promote inclusive access to learning opportunities.
