About This Survey:

TerraCorps celebrates difference and embraces the impact that diversity of thought, experience, and identity has on our organization. We are a human-centered organization where staff, Board and Service Members are encouraged to bring their whole identity to the workplace and the mission.  We welcome applicants of all backgrounds and we’re doing everything we can to recruit for diversity as we grow.

Please review our Leadership Structure Page and read our staff and board of director bios. We invite you as well to share (anonymously) information about your background and identities.  Please note that this form will be submitted separately from your application materials for open staff positions with TerraCorps.
Why are we asking these questions? 

TerraCorps strives to attract applicants from all personal and professional backgrounds. We are collecting this data to understand the current diversity of our applicant pool and learn how we can improve and fine-tune our inclusive recruitment practices. In order to understand which practices are welcoming and inclusive, and where we can make improvements, we need to understand the existing levels of diversity present in the applicant pools for TerraCorps staff positions.
Are you required to answer these questions? 

Participation in this survey is completely voluntary and anonymous, but we hope that you will choose to participate. Completion of this form will not affect your employment opportunities with TerraCorps, or the terms and conditions of your employment. The raw data provided on this form will be kept separate from all your application materials and will not be visible to TerraCorps staff making decisions on applicant selection and offers of employment. Aggregated and analyzed data may be available to TerraCorps staff after the selection process is complete.
  
You may decline to participate entirely or decline to answer any of the questions in the survey. The entire survey is anonymous. Your name, e-mail address, and your IP address will NOT be recorded.
How will we use the data you provide? 

This data will help inform TerraCorps about the effectiveness of its efforts to reach and attract a more diverse pool of applicants; one that is representative of all the communities we serve.    

Logistically, the raw data will fed into a spreadsheet that will be visible to our evaluation staff, but will not be visible to any TerraCorps staff who may influence applicant selection. The aggregated and analyzed data will be visible to and used by TerraCorps staff.  

This data is primarily for internal use.  We welcome requests for more information.
