COVID-19 Vaccine Volunteer Crew

We are seeking volunteers aged 18+ for applied, in-person public health experience in pandemic response at Federally Qualified Health Centers in Los Angeles. 
 
Where: This work is in-person. Sites include Clínica Romero, Kedren Community Health Center, Venice Family Clinic, St. John's Well Child, Eisner Health, Saban Community Clinic, Chinatown Service Center, with more sites to be added around Los Angeles County.

When: Shifts available every day as full or half-days, morning/afternoon/evening with specific hours varying by clinic. Personal protective equipment will be provided to all volunteers. Volunteers will be able to be vaccinated if they want to be.

CLINICAL VOLUNTEERS

NON-CLINICAL VOLUNTEERS
 
Duties: Non-clinical volunteers are required to commit to a minimum of six shifts. Duties will include data collection, quality assurance, and logistical support at COVID-19 vaccine clinic. Each volunteer will need to commit to at least one shift/week for at least six weeks due to on-site training required.
 
Training: Prior to starting volunteering, you will be required to complete HIPAA training. To do this, please review the materials in the non-clinical section of this training website: http://ph.lacounty.gov/acd/ncorona2019/VACCINE/STAFFTRAINING/basic/
After reviewing, take the HIPAA test and complete the HIPAA attestation at the bottom. Send as a screenshot or PDF with your name & score visible before your first day on-site.

Non-clinical volunteers: To express interest, please fill out the link below. Then, email the following to mmackary@ph.lacounty.gov 1) HIPAA attestation 2) Resume or brief intro - 1 sentence is fine  3) Earliest start date/time. Due to volume, we likely cannot respond to people who do not email ALL of these items. Assignments are subject to clinic needs.
