The City of Danville is submitting a grant application to IDOT for ITEP (Illinois Transportation Enhancement Program) for pedestrian improvements along the Bowman/East Voorhees corridor. This project will construct a pedestrian pathway along East Voorhees from Griffin Street to Michigan Ave, providing connectivity to the current sidewalks from Holiday Hills subdivision to Michigan Ave. on East Voorhees. Please share your experience regarding active transportation like walking and bicycling.
