We invite you to participate in this survey to inform the development of a practical toolkit that will help healthcare workers worldwide prepare for, respond to, and recover from disasters and humanitarian emergencies. A previous priority-setting workshop identified key operational priorities for preparedness and response in kidney care. This survey seeks to validate and contextualize those priorities among a broader international group of kidney care and disaster-management professionals. Findings will inform the development of practical and adaptable operational checklists and implementation tools for dialysis programs and other kidney care services.

You are eligible to complete this questionnaire if you are a healthcare provider (doctor, nurse, technician), emergency management professional, researcher, trainee, or other professional involved in dialysis-related care (both in-center and home dialysis). Both adult and pediatric providers are eligible.
While there are no direct benefits to you, your responses will help us create an operational checklist that can facilitate disaster management at your center. The attached questionnaire will take 10-15 minutes to complete.

Your participation is voluntary, and you may choose to withdraw at any time. We will analyze all questionnaire responses together and remove any identifying information. Only a collective analysis of questionnaire responses will be reported.

Thank you for your time and for contributing to efforts to improve disaster preparedness, response, and recovery in kidney care.
