Covid-19 Impact & Support

Dear Community Organisations,

With challenging times ahead due to the Covid-19 pandemic and impacts already felt by many in the ACT, Hands Across Canberra is sensitive to the changing needs of nonprofits, especially those whose staff are in direct line of service in communities across our city. Due to changing needs in the community, we are currently reviewing the priorities of our upcoming grant round which will see $400,000 available for grants, to assess how and if these can support organisations in dealing with the impacts of Covid-19 on the community sector. We want to ensure that Canberra nonprofits have access to the appropriate types of support that are needed by their organisations and those they serve in these changing circumstances.
