2023 Application: 2024 AFPICON (Association of Fundraising Professional International Conference) Scholarship
Chamberlain Scholarship and Clay Edwards Scholarship Application
ELIGIBILITY
Individuals applying must -
be responsible for fundraising for a 501(c)(3) organization (at least 50% time)
demonstrate financial need. Strong consideration will be given to applicants from organizations with operating budgets that are less than $500,000 per year.
be first time attendees to the AFP International Conference for the Chamberlain Scholarship. Strong preference will be given to first time attendees for the Clay Edwards Scholarship.
have never previously been awarded the Chamberlain or Clay Edwards Scholarship
be a member of AFP of Northwest Arkansas
be willing to serve on a chapter committee as a condition of receiving the scholarship
Applicants can apply for both scholarships with a single application - but only one scholarship will be awarded per person
APPLICATION PROCESS
Once eligible, submit the completed application by June 30, 2023. You will be notified by August 15, 2023 regarding the scholarship committee's decision.
SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITS
Winning scholarship recipients must submit their application for AFP membership in the appropriate membership category directly to AFP International. AFP NWA will reimburse recipients or recipient organization.
FOR PLANNING PURPOSES
Airfare, lodging (3-4 days), ground transportation and meals are estimated to cost $2,000.00.
