If you indicated in #1 that you have been submitting fewer proposals recently, can you please tell us why? (more than one response is ok - and your feedback in the "other" field is welcome)
Many programs are No Due Date (NoDD) and that doesn't work for me/I don't like NoDD
Too little time/ too busy
Disenfranchised/discouraged
COVID-19 related changes/difficulties
Too many community activities/service
I have been submitting fewer but larger cap proposals (e.g. ICAR, PRISM, PSI-E)
Low acceptance rates
Discouraging past review comments
Discouraging debriefs
Takes too long to get results
I have had a decrease in need for grants (please elaborate in comments!)
General burnout
I've been contributing to more proposals as Co-I instead
I've been submitting proposals to different funding agencies (e.g., NSF)

The flexibility is helpful because it doesn't require a firm deadline
The flexibility is hard because there isn't a firm deadline

If you indicated in #5 that you have not submitted proposals to NoDD programs, could you explain why? (more than one response is ok, and your feedback in the "other" field is welcome)
The flexibility is hard because there isn't a firm deadline
I am fully funded and do not need to apply for R&A funding
Just coincidence
My research doesn’t fit into the NoDD programs
The timeline from submission to decision is not clear to me
I’m worried it will take longer to receive a decision
