Public Survey —Developer Requested Changes to the Thoroughfare & Collector Street Plan

The MPO welcomes public input on current developer requested changes to the Thoroughfare and Collector Street Plan, including:
  • Sandy Ridge Road: removal of a planned rail grade separation, an interchange, and a collector street extension north of W. Market Street.
  • US 70: removal of the planned US 70 Bypass around the Town of Sedalia.
Comments received will be shared along with staff recommendations to the MPO Transportation Advisory Committee on March 11, 2026.
