2015-2016 Kansas Green Schools Mentor Program Application |
Application Information
Thank you for your interest in applying for the 2015-2016 Kansas Green Schools Mentor Program. This 24 question application will take about 30-45 minutes to complete online, and is best done in one sitting.
Prior to filling out this application:
1) This mentor program is designed to support you and your school throughout the year as you engage students to explore, investigate, learn about and take action to green the school while integrating environmental education. If you are not familiar with the Kansas Green Schools Program please review the following links.

2) Review the Kansas Green Schools Mentor Program Information page at http://www.kacee.org/files/KGS%20Mentor%20Program%20Flyer%202015-2016%20(Revised).pdf
and share your plans to apply with your administrator/supervisor and other colleagues. It is important that you have administrator support to participate in the program prior to applying.
3) If possible, identify someone from your school or community who could complete the Mentor Program with you during the 2015-2016 school year and invite them to apply as your Co-applicant (a Co-applicant is preferred but not required).

3) Each applicant will be notified as to whether or not they were accepted.
If you apply by October 22 and are accepted, you agree to complete the requirements of the mentor program in the 2015-2016 school year and will receive two special (1/2 price) registration links. You may register for the Nov. 6 Kansas Environmental Education Pre-Conference Workshop: Kansas Green Schools KICKSTART! A kick-Off to the “New” Kansas Green Schools Mentor Program (required) and the Nov. 6-7 Kansas Environmental Education Conference (optional) for 1/2 price.
