WRAP® Seminar II Application : Spring Facilitator Trainings for TREx Participants

The Recovery Exchange (TREx) program invites you to join one of our upcoming Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP®) Seminar II Facilitator Trainings, designed for State Hospital Facilitators. There are
two options, both 3 -day, in-person events.

Attendees are expected to have a solid working knowledge of WRAP® in order to focus on facilitation skills and methods. The WRAP® Facilitator Training provides an experiential learning environment based on mutuality, self-determination, and unconditional high regard. Participants will engage in interactive practice exercises and demonstrate their own experience with WRAP®.

*32 CEUs will be provided for MHPS, RSPS, RPS, CFP, and PSS (including PSS credit for peer supervision and leadership).

Note: Anyone from TREx participating organization is encouraged to apply, with the approval of their TREx Team Lead. Priority will be given to state hospital participants. If applications exceed our capacity, we will contact the Team Leads of those organizations and negotiate plans accordingly. Our hope is to find a way to accommodate all TREx Teams who are prepared to implement WRAP® with the people they support!

Who should attend WRAP® Seminar II
This training is appropriate for any staff of a TREx organization who would like to lead WRAP® groups, work with others to develop their own WRAP® and give presentations on mental health recovery related issues to groups or organizations.

Prerequisites
To attend this training, it is expected that you have familiarity with the different parts of WRAP® through completion of one of the following prerequisites (which must be conducted by a WRAP® Facilitator) by the time of this event:
  • 2 or 3 day Seminar I course or workshop; or
  • 8 or 12 week Seminar I group or workshop
Additionally, it is expected that you will have developed and used your own WRAP® plan.

Cost to Participate
  • TREx is covering the cost of registration, lunch and all training materials including a WRAPⓇ Facilitator Manual.
  • Participants/participating organizations are expected to arrange and pay for their own travel, lodging and other expenses.


What happens after I submit my application?
We will review and accept applications on a rolling basis, while attempting to distribute this opportunity evenly across teams, giving priority to the hospitals. We will notify you and your TREx Team Lead of the status of your application within five business days and stay in touch with anyone placed on a waitlist. Please keep in mind that application reviews will be delayed during the holiday season. Thanks for your interest!
