Thousands of New Yorkers lost their job overnight due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This human tragedy was amplified by the difficult process to receive NYS Unemployment Insurance (UI) benefits due to an overwhelmed system. Were you – are you – one of the New Yorker who navigated the registration process to receive UI benefits? If so, we want to hear from you so that our organization, which oversees the workforce development system in Clinton, Essex, Franklin and Hamilton counties, can take your feedback into consideration as we move forward with this unknown period we are all living in.
