Water Systems Owner/Operator Survey

We need your feedback! The Washington State Department of Health (DOH) is updating the definition of "disadvantaged communities" under the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) (doh.wa.gov/dwsrf). As we update this definition, we want to hear from water systems and the communities they serve on important factors to consider when defining “disadvantaged communities.” We hope to gain insight into the customers experience in accessing safe and reliable drinking water, and how DWSRF funding may be best utilized.

We are specifically trying to reach communities served by public water systems that may experience disproportionate hardship in affording or accessing safe and reliable drinking water. These include, but are not limited to, communities of color, tribal communities or communities on tribal lands, people who are low-income, migrant workers, and people with chronic health conditions or sensitivities that put them at higher risk of impacts. Please take a few minutes to provide feedback specific to your service area.

Please complete this survey by December 31st, 2023.

This survey should take about 10 minutes to complete. Information collected via this survey may be subject to release in accordance with RCW 42.56. If you have questions about this survey, please contact Chelsea Cannard at Chelsea.Cannard@doh.wa.gov.
