Smores and More Night - make smores on the patio and partake in family activities (join a sing-a-long with actors from the pirate festival or singers from the Balclutha at the Maritime History Museum in SF, etc)

Board Games Night at the Community Center by Gamescape - the local game store brings staff and games; Learn the latest games & enjoy old favorites.

Active Game Night at the Park – sack races, relays, kickball, cooperative games, wiffleball, basketball, food trucks, etc.

Karaoke Night and Improv Games at the Community Center

Dia de Los Muertos Night – music, dance, and make an alter for a loved one (or pet) who has passed

Multi-Cultural Celebrations: Theme events like Dia de Los Muertos, Carnival & Mardi Gras, Viking, Greek, or celebrations from India, China, Spain, etc.

8.More Parent/Child Specialty Events: Currently the department's Daddy/Daughter and Mother/Son events sell out. Would you like more Parent/Child events? (Select all that apply)

I would like more Parent/Child events where either parent can come. Example: Mother can bring daughter or father can bring son

Keep these new Parent/Child events strictly mother/son or daddy/daughter

I would like more options where both parents and child(ern) can attend all togther. Example: Family Dance Night w/DJ or live band

Daddy Daughter Dance Classes: Example: 4 class series with a performance at the Just Dance Academy Spring Recital. Costumes included!

Family Martial Arts Class - Ex: Capoeira, where you can learn kicks, cartwheels, and various acrobatic moves together

We are not interested in additional Parent/Child events

Tour of Tilden Park's Best spots: Little Farm, Miniature Steam Engine Railroad Ride, Carousel House and it's 1950's snackbar, etc

Fairyland on Lake Merrit: A whimsical 10-acre park, a magical fantasy world where young children can create, imagine, play, read and learn all day long. Primarily for those under 8. Maybe send your child with a grandparent, "Auntie" or "Big Brother-types!
