We are CAPS, an Independent Advocacy organisation. Independent Advocacy amplifies people’s voices. It helps people to have as much control as possible over their lives.
Veterans Collective Advocacy is about amplifying the voices of Scotland’s veterans. Through Collective Advocacy, veterans get together, express views and consider ways forward. This type of collaboration can help individuals to speak up about their experiences, values, and expectations. Collective Advocacy helps people to influence the agendas that shape their lives and the lives of people like them.
This survey is a way for veterans, wherever they are in Scotland, to have their say. If you have served at least one day in the Armed Forces you are a veteran. The survey questions are based on veterans’ views and your anonymous answers will be used in a report about how services for veterans can be improved.
This project is funded by, but independent from, Scotland’s Veterans Wellbeing Alliance. We are gathering the voices of veterans across Scotland to ensure that their lived experience is listened to and is fundamental in the work of the Alliance to ensure that services for veterans are serving veterans!
Taking part is voluntary. You can answer as much or as little as you wish, and you can leave the page if you do not want to continue. Deciding not to take part or withdrawing from the survey will not affect you in any way.
Your responses are completely anonymous. Please do not include any identifying information (eg: Names, address, age, description of likeness, etc). By filling in the survey, you indicate you have read and understood the above.
Once you have submitted your answers we won’t be able to delete them because we will not be able to identify you from the answers you have submitted.
