Mending the Mind Workshop Series Survey |
Participant Survey
Mending the mind is a 4-part workshop series centered around identifying and releasing trauma/stress while building self-worth and confidence in the intersections of identity and health to support underrepresented minorities on the Homewood and Peabody Undergraduate campuses (more details here). The series will teach students how to use language, solidarity, nourishing foods, and physical release with therapeutic services through modules. The modules are work-at-your-own-pace and will be available for all participants. There will be one live session where we come together and talk about the importance of language and community.
Participants will receive a kit including foods, a journal, and prompts to aid in going through the modules (limited quantities). Throughout the workshop series students will learn how to identify trauma and ways to release/support trauma. There will be one or two live sessions where engagement is encouraged. After this series we hope students will be able to play a more active role in being aware of when trauma presents itself and how to address it. We want to plan the virtual workshop series with your schedule and needs in mind. Thank you for your help!
