How to measure parent and sailor height?

Equipment; tape measure, book or ruler, pencil

Positioning; feet together, standing back to a wall, head positioned so middle of ear and eyes approx. level.

Instruction; take in deep breath and hold. Place book/ruler on head (compress hair) and mark wall. Use the tape measure from base of wall to mark.
