Data.govt.nz is New Zealand's Open Government Data Platform, designed to catalogue government's open datasets and make them accessible to other agencies, citizens, and businesses. The platform also provides guidance on managing data, standards, policy, ethics, and other concepts relating to open data and open government.

Every 2-3 years we embark on a vision exercise to give us a "north star" to guide our work. We would like your input into this vision.

Our focus at this point is agreeing on a goal and common purpose, rather than planning specific features, but please feel free to add as much detail as you would like about any relevant subject.
