Hospital-Based Injury Prevention Professional Survey on Position Role and Description

Thank you for completing this survey! The survey was developed by the American Trauma Society (ATS) in collaboration with the Society of Trauma Nurses (STN), Safe States Alliance, the Trauma Center Association of America (TCAA), and the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA). Each of these organizations is an active member of the Trauma Prevention Coalition (TPC). The purpose of the survey is to expand on information collected during the 2017 survey from the Safe State Alliance to better understand how trauma centers across the United States are structuring the role of the Injury Prevention Professional and assigning responsibility for injury prevention activities. We will use the survey results to develop national strategies to strengthen the role of the Hospital-based Injury and Violence Prevention Professional.
