Purpose and eligibility

Objectives:
  • To provide Key Club members who have a financial need with an equal opportunity to attend the Key Club International Convention
  • To determine the impact that Key Club International Convention can make in a member's life
Criteria:
  • Must be a Key Club member in good standing
  • Be descriptive and specific about yourself
  • Do not disclose your Key Club district or other Key Club or Kiwanis members' names in your responses. 
  • Respond to three prompts about your need for the subsidy and the impact that attending the convention will have on you and your local area

  • Explain how the subsidy would contribute to your long-term goals.
  • What obstacles in your life are you facing that might stop you from being able to raise funds?

  • Focus on the skills that being a Key Club member has taught you
  • Emphasize what challenges being a member has helped you overcome
  • Be specific and focus on your own growth 
  • Don't mention other Key Club members' or advisors' names
