Chebeague Island COVID-19 Vaccination Data
We ask EVERYONE on Chebeague to respond to this survey!
We understand. We’re all tired of the COVID-19 pandemic and can’t wait for it to be over. But we can’t take the steps to fully and confidently re-open our Island until we know how close we are to “herd immunity.”
We would like to see the CTC ferry back on a full schedule and able to carry more passengers on each trip. We would like to be able to have meetings and events at the Island Hall again. And visit the Library. And the Museum. We would like to be able to enter the Island Market and browse for our food. We would like to be able to dine at the Chebeague Inn. And perhaps most of all, we would like to be able to socialize with our friends, neighbors, and relatives, many of whom we haven’t seen in person for more than a year.
To do this, we need to know how many people have received at least their first dose of the Pfiser or Moderna vaccine or their one shot of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. It doesn’t matter whether you received your vaccination on Chebeague or elsewhere. We just need to learn how many of us have received our shot(s).
While the President has announced his recommendation to vaccinate every adult by the end of May, we believe that it is important to continue to stay ahead of the curve with accurate, up to date data.
This is a NEW very short survey. PLEASE, complete ONE survey for EACH member of your household aged 16 and older.
In addition, please reach out to your neighbors and urge them to complete this survey. Offer to help anyone needing assistance in completing the form. Help us to document EVERY vaccinated Chebeaguer, even if you think we know you’ve been vaccinated!

All responses will be held confidential. They will be viewed only by people associated with the vaccine distribution and used for no other purposes.
Results of this survey will help to inform decisions regarding how and when we can get back to “normal.” Thank you for your assistance in this important effort.
