Young people – how is COVID-19 affecting you?

Introduction: Young people are some of those most affected by the pandemic’s socio-economic impacts. Nevertheless, youth are also among the most active in global responses: not only are they on the frontlines as health workers, but they are also advancing health and safety for a healthier, safer, and gender-equal world.

This survey has been prepared by the ISBT Young Professionals Council. The objectives of this survey are to evaluate the degree to which Young Transfusion Medicine Professionals have been involved with the COVID-19 (corona virus) pandemic and related activities, and the impact that the pandemic or the activities have had on them. We aim to publish the results of this survey to help the council and the community to address Young Professionals’ needs in similar pandemics in the future.

If you are a Young Professional in Transfusion Medicine (aged 40 years or under), we would appreciate you spending a few minutes to answer our questions. Participation in this survey is voluntary and anonymous. It should take 10-15 minutes of your time. You are also welcome to share the survey link with other young professionals that you know. The survey can be filled out by non-ISBT members.

Thank you!
