* 2. What's the longest period of time you've gone without power, by choice (camping) or otherwise? When I was living in the suburbs of Chicago for college, we experienced just a few blackouts but they lasted nearly an entire day. Nothing makes you realize how much you take power for granted until you unexpectedly don't have it for so long!
