ASCA’s Health IT Survey

Increasingly health Information Technology (HIT) is becoming important. It has been the focus of recent government initiatives, most notably the recent HITECH penalty/incentive program designed to encourage the adoption of EHR in physician offices and hospitals. Additionally, states and the federal government are adopting reporting regimes that will likely necessitate participants having certain HIT in place.

Largely ASCs have not been affected by governmental HIT initiatives, however, they may become the focus of policy makers in the future. To ensure that these future efforts do not impose unnecessary burdens on ASCs and instead benefit ASCs, ASCA needs your help.

Currently not much is known about the state of health IT adoption in ASCs. The purpose of this survey is to gather information about health IT and ASCs to guide ASCA in its future advocacy efforts.

Your responses will be kept strictly confidential. Thank you for your participation.
