Supportive Maternity Practices that Extend the
Duration of Breastfeeding

This program will outline the five supportive hospital practices found to significantly extend the duration of breastfeeding among mothers of healthy, term infants. In addition, other strategies to promote the successful initiation of breastfeeding and troubleshoot early problems will be presented.

Please note that paper handouts of the slides will not be provided.

Handouts will be available one week before the meeting.
