2.Baseline demographic questions

Dear Colleagues,
Transfusion reactions and hemovigilance in pediatric patients can present differently from those in adult patients. There is a lack of quality data on transfusion reactions in this vulnerable group.
The Pediatric Transfusion Subgroup and the Hemovigilance Working Party of the International Society of Blood Transfusion (ISBT) have planned a Global Pediatric Hemovigilance Survey to systematically capture data on transfusion-related adverse events, reporting systems, and preventive strategies across diverse healthcare settings.
We invite you to respond to this survey with an aims to strengthen the safety and quality of transfusion practices in children worldwide. By understanding regional variations, challenges, and best practices, the survey will support evidence-based policy development, capacity building, and quality improvement.
