The Patients Association has designed this survey in partnership with the Royal College of Radiologists to investigate how long patients are waiting for x-ray and scan results. This survey is designed for people who have had either a scan or an x-ray in the past two years. The Patients Association is keen to gain evidence in order to show whether services are achieving the Government’s target of 28 days from referral to test result by 2020. This target was created in order to help prevent the deaths of 11,000 people per year. All information supplied will be held by the Patient Association and the Royal College of Radiologists and will remain secure and confidential. If you have any queries, please contact the Patients Association on: 020 8423 9111.
