National PTA 125th Anniversary Convention call for Workshop Presenters is now open!

We are excited to announce that the call for proposals for the 2023 Virtual PTA Convention is NOW OPEN and YOU are invited to share your ideas and experiences as a presenter!  
All proposals will be peer reviewed and chosen based on their demonstrated effectiveness to engage and inspires excellence for PTA Leaders.
We are looking for workshop sessions focusing on the following areas:
·       Equity and Inclusion
·       Family and Community Engagement
·       Community Based Advocacy
·       Leadership Development
·       Digital Safety
·       Mental Health (including suicide prevention and depression)
·       Working with the Media
·       Child and Youth Nutrition
·       School and Community Safety
·       Climate and Environmental Concerns
·       Youth Engagement
·       Elevating the PTA Brand
·       Planning and Evaluating  for Membership Growth
·       Non-Profit Management for PTAs
This year all workshops will be prerecorded. To apply, you will need to:
 
·       Provide 2-3 learning objectives
·       Describe how you will meet your learning objectives.
·       Provide a description that outlines the content of the proposed workshop.
·       Submit  a bio for each presenter that includes a description of  why they are qualified to present on the proposed topic (150 words max)
·       Provide contact information for all proposed presenters. 
 
The deadline for proposal submission is midnight (EST) on December 9, 2022. All proposed presenters will be notified of their workshop status by mid February.
Each selected presenter will be asked to provide a headshot, attend a presenter orientation (virtually) and submit a slide deck for approval prior to recording the workshop.
