The Oklahoma State Department of Education Office of Curriculum & Instruction would appreciate hearing from educators who are interested in the implementation of professional development activities intended to improve instruction for English Language Learners (ELLs) and assist educational personnel working with ELLs meet high professional standards. Professional development activities may include both preservice and in-service educators. Such professional development activities will be designed to improve classroom instruction for ELLs and assist educational personnel working with such children in meeting high professional standards, including standards for certification and licensure as teachers who work in language instruction educational programs or serve ELLs.
