Congratulations! You have purchased a ZTechnik® windshield, the highest quality windshield available for your BMW. Your ZTechnik windshield is designed to provide many years of superior performance. We are so confident in the strength and durability of our hard coated polycarbonate windshields that we will replace your ZTechnik windshield if it breaks for any reason, other than intentional abuse or chemical damage, for a period of 3 years from the date of purchase. This policy covers windshield breakage resulting from parking lot falls as well as from an accident. Please read the sticker on your windshield for care and cleaning instructions.

We will need some information from you in order to register your windshield purchase and to activate your warranty. Accident or claims made before your registration date are not covered.

3-Year Limited Warranty Terms:

ZTechnik hereby warrants to the original registered owner of a ZTechnik polycarbonate windshield for a period of three years from the date of purchase against breakage. This limited warranty is expressly limited to the replacement of the polycarbonate windscreen. This limited warranty does not include scratches, coating failure, cosmetic wear and tear, replacement of hardware, or any consequential damages or expenses including labor cost of installation, removal and/or replacement, inconvenience, inbound freight expenses or damage to any other component of the motorcycle or any other accessories. Certain chemicals, generally known as acidic hydrocarbons, are known to cause polycarbonate damage and will not be covered under this limited warranty. Please refer to the cleaning instructions supplied with all ZTechnik windshields.

In the unlikely event that you need to file a claim under this warranty, you will be asked to supply a receipt or proof of purchase, a clear photograph of the affected area of the windshield, along with an explanation of how the damage occurred. Send these items to ZTechnik by email or to ZTechnik Customer Service by Postal Service. ZTechnik will examine your photo and warranty claim, and may request that your windshield be sent to us for inspection. ZTechnik reserves the right at its sole discretion to refuse any claim that it determines is illegitimate or due to willful abuse or alteration of the windshield. Other than the warranty described above ZTechnik makes no warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

If the warranty claim is deemed valid by ZTechnik, a replacement will be promptly shipped to the registered owner. ZTechnik will pay for the cost to ship the replacement windshield within the United States. Postage charges may apply elsewhere.
