Who are we?We are Much More Than A Label. We are a Lothian wide collective advocacy group for and by people who may attract the diagnosis of a personality disorder. In advocacy groups like ours, people with shared identities, experiences and challenges come together to have a stronger voice and take action.
Why are we doing this survey? Our group members think there are important changes that could be made in Edinburgh to help make services for people with BPD or EUPD better. We would like to know more about how other people with BPD/EUPD have found the services in Edinburgh, and want to use this information to help us show service providers what people say about services and what they need.
How are we using the information collected? We will summarise it in a report to share with service providers. Your responses will help us understand what is available in Edinburgh, and what is lacking. We hope this will influence provision of services and urge decision-makers to take people's needs into account.
Taking part:The survey is for those who have used or are using mental health support services in Edinburgh. Taking part is voluntary. You can answer as much or as little as you wish, and you can leave the page if you do not want to continue. Deciding not to take part or withdrawing from the survey will not affect you in any way. Your responses are completely anonymous. By filling in the survey, you indicate you have read and understood the above.
Some of the topics here may be challenging to answer, and bring up difficult emotions. If you would like to share your experiences in another way, or have any questions, please reach out to the group facilitator Alex, at alex@capsadvocacy.org
