Recycling Into the Future

The Kawerak environmental program is considering a regional recycling center to better support waste backhaul and recycling programs in the community of Nome and member tribes. Current recycling services are limited in the amount and type of materials that can be processed, and do not provide a safe and efficient workspace for recycling activities. Your data, input, and comments will help with designing a new regional facility to best serve your community’s recycling goals.
