ORPC owns and maintains over 346 km of overhead lines, 129 km of underground lines, and 12 substations. ORPC is committed to the pursuit of excellence in safety and reliability for the customers and communities it serves, while seeking practical innovation, conservation, and technology solutions that create value for customers and shareholders.

Purpose of this survey
ORPC is preparing its 2027-2031 Distribution System Plan (DSP). A DSP is a long-term plan that explains how ORPC intends to maintain, renew, and improve the local electricity distribution system so that customers continue to receive safe and reliable electricity service.

This voluntary survey is intended to help ORPC understand customer needs, priorities, and preferences as it develops its investment plan. The feedback collected will be summarized and used as one input into ORPC’s upcoming electricity distribution rate application to the OEB.

ORPC only controls the distribution portion of your electricity bill. ORPC does not set the commodity price of electricity, transmission rates, HST, or most other provincial charges. Where this survey refers to bill impacts, it is referring to the distribution portion of the bill unless otherwise noted.

All survey responses will be combined for analysis. Individual responses will remain confidential and will not be attributed to individual customers in ORPC’s application materials.

This survey has 22 questions and should take approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete.
