Language classes from G6 to G10 are offered as Language and Literature (Language A) and Language Acquisition (Language B).

L1 is English for all students, as it is the language of instruction.

Native speakers of Chinese, German, Korean and Japanese must take these language courses as L2, respectively:

Spanish B and French B are offered only at the Phase 1 level in Grade 6.

Chinese B cannot be chosen as L3 if you have chosen Chinese A or B as L2. This means that you can’t choose to do Chinese for L2 and for L3.

**If a student moves from English Phase 3 to Phase 4 at the end of Semester 1 in G6, he/she will continue to do extra English, and will start his/her L3 class at the start of the following school year.
